Audience: Development/exploration geologists, drilling engineers and operation geologists wanting to gain a deep understanding of the geomechanics principles that govern wellbore stability.
Summary: This course covers the fundamentals of building a geomechanical model from data to workflows. The geomechanical model is applied to optimize the mud program and casing points to achieve a stable borehole while reducing the non-productive time. The driving mechanisms behind wellbore instability will be discussed and diagnostic indicators reviewed.

By registering for this training, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. General
The training provides contents in digital form (pdf files) about technical aspects of the purchased course, including theoretical concepts, mathematical models, literature references, examples, and exercises. The students will receive a digital file (pdf version) of the contents to be taught prior to the beginning of the training.
A student is any individual person who registers through the online portal by providing his identification such as name (first and last), email address, company affiliation and job title, and pays the registration fee.
The instructor(s) is (are) provided by Subsurface Alliance LLC as someone well versed in the training contents. The instructor will conduct the training through a virtual platform such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or similar. Each student will be provided credentials to access the virtual room. Those credentials are not to be shared with anyone and should be used solely by the registered student.
All the training contents are going to be covered during the specific allocated time (total duration) of the training virtual sessions. No extra time out of the total duration is guaranteed for students to seek advice or ask any questions. It is solely at the discretion of Subsurface Alliance LLC to provide any support, advice, or extra training to any student outside of the allocated time of the training.
The student is granted lifetime access to the material delivered by Subsurface Alliance LLC in digital format. The pdf files can be retained by the student for future access.
2. Training details
The contents and duration of the training are as described in Subsurface Alliance LLC website.
The sessions will be virtual using any virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom or Microsoft teams.
The instructor(s) will explain the contents of the training and will allow time for any student to ask questions during each session.
3. Cancellation and Refunds
In case any student decides to cancel the registration, the following refund policy applies. For cancelations up to 30 days prior to the training starting date, the student will receive a refund of 90% of the total registration fee. For cancelations up to 15 days prior to the starting date of the training, the student will receive a refund of 50% of the registration fee. No refunds will be provided for cancelations less than 15 days prior to the start of the training.
To cancel a registration the student must submit an email to info@subsurfacealliance.com requesting a cancelation and appropriate refund amount according to the conditions above. The refunds will be provided through PayPal services.
4. Personal responsibility and liability waive
The student assumes the responsibility of the use and application of the contents in his professional duties. The student also waives any liability against Subsurface Alliance LLC regarding the use and results of any content in the training.
5. Intellectual Property
The contents of the training are intellectual property of Subsurface Alliance LLC, and rights for personal use are granted to the students. Under no circumstance the contents of the training material, either partially or totally, should be used by the student for commercial purposes, or distributed to third parties.
6. Data protection and permissions
The student information will not be shared with any third parties and will only be used by Subsurface Alliance LLC for communication on services and products. Subsurface Alliance LLC may seek feedback on the training and a voluntary testimonial to be published on the promotional website of the training for future customers to see it. The student can accept or decline such a request. In case the student accepts it, the student grants Subsurface Alliance LLC the right to publish his testimonial along with his name and company affiliation on the promotional campaigns of the training.
